"Confessions of a Shopaholic" and "Push" are begging me to watch them. "Shopaholic" for all its clothes, quirky jokes and Hugh Dancy goodness. "Push" for its action, science-fiction, Chris Evans-y goodness.
*sighs*
Oh, and I might as well throw in the Dragon Ball movie too, because I am just so damn curious.
*goes to watch trailers again*
Why must this place where I live be so late in delivering new movies to the theaters?!?!?!
*wails silently*

13 days!
it's been 13 days since my last post, and I can only blame it on one thing: procrastination.
Really, at least I'm being honest about it.
I realized the second to last post I had was about Freddie's ep in Skins. This week is already the finale *le gasp* that should give youse and idea of how it's been.
Anyways, let's just take a moment here to appreciate Skins. *bows head, clasps hand, silence*.
There.
Because reallly, this series of Skins is so much better, IMHO, than the two preceedings. Series 1 was pretty fun, being introduced to the concept of the show and the characters. But the story arcs lacked....I don't know...a sense of direction, I guess. It felt like they weren't really planning the whole season as one. It was more like random little events happening. And the characters lacked some development. I can't be all smart and say something like "it lacked creative writing" cause I don't know anything about scripts writing (unless when it's really really bad that it's so obvious), but some of the characters were sort of...well, they were entertaining, but not to the par of the others.
Series 2 was just plain misserable. Dark. Moody. (sorta) Spooky. There were loads of lol moments, but they were greatly outweighted by the darkness the group was falling into.
(Which reminds me that school starts again in 3 days. Fracking hell.)

- Tony's no longer the cocky, smug, philosophical, manipulating asshole that he is; the bus had turned rebirthed him; he was like a baby, learning everything new. Except for the fact that he's had a whole new life before to reach back to. Well, at least he was still pretty to look at.
- Michelle. I don't really know what's her major problem. I guess it's dealing with Tony. OH! Right. She slept with Sid. Betrayed her best friend, Cassie. Dealt with new step-family. Well, at least she was pretty to look at, too.
- Sid's dad died. He was confused, and lonely, so goes to sleep with Michelle. Which Cassie sees first hand, effectively ending their relationship and reducing it to insults, bitch slaps, and cold glares for about 4 episodes. And then he went and delivered the most beautiful confrontation to Cassie, which made them both realised what fracking idiots they were, and they went back together.
- And everything should've been fine then for Cassie, but then she had to go and see witness her best friend die in her arms, so she goes all withdrawal and runs away to New York. New York! WTF?! Ga kurang jauh?? And the end of the series is a fracking cliffhanger too, cause just as Cassie turns around from the window, we see Sid looking around for her just outside.
- Chris. Omg. Chris. He was so sweet and funny and damaged-but-keeping-it-together-optimistically. One of my top faves of the group. And the writers went and killed him. With a brain clot. Fracking hell. Just as he was getting it together too; job, Jal, house. *sigh* The writers of Skins are just pain mean.
- The 'boring' one, the joy-kill of the group got knocked up. This of course leads to more heated moments with the P.Diddy dad, but also revealed a more tender side of Jal with her brothers. And poor girl. To have to go through Chris' death. Really, I have to talk about how depressing the finale is later.
- Maxxie was just such a sweetheart. Not that he wasn't last series, but this time around he was the only one of the group to really help Tony recover. Yes, I know that Sid was at the hospital everyday when Tony was still out, but he ran away from him when he woke up. So Maxxie's the real chump here. I'm glad they had a good-if-not-happy ending for him. It would've really killed it if they gave the sweetest of the group some really ugly shtuff. And also, his dance sequence which opened S2 was better than Freddie's. Sorry, I love F more, but the dancing got me.
- Anwar didn't really have much going about him, did he? Just Sketch, the fight ensued by that with Maxxie, failing his A-levels, but then they let him run off to London with Maxxie. Meh, not much to say about that. He provided great comic relied though. "Budah budah chEEEEse BudAAhh." LMAO.
- Sketch. Pfft, annoying bitch. Get a life, man.
- Effy. *teheehee* A confession: the main reason I started watching Skins was her. I watched aandbreatheme's splendifirous "Disturbia" vid of her, and I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT. srsly. I have never been as astounded in that way by vids, EVER. And Effy never ceased to fail me. And in series 3, she was even more amazing that she was before. Ok, 'amazing' is a really lousy word and fails greatly to describe her, but I was sorta speechless there for a bit, and the only word I could think of was 'amazing'. Cut me some slack, Kaya Scodelario is THAT awesome.
(Which reminds me that school starts again in 3 days. Fracking hell.)

it isn't cheating...
...if you put the tip in, the tip in...
that annoying random song will now haunt me for the rest of the day.
*sigh*
"it isn't cheating if you put the tip in, the tip in!"
what does that even mean anyway???

"I think Cook's YOUR friend...Isn't he?"
mmmmmhhh. I'm such a sucker for angst. I've replayed that scene 20 million times now, I think. And Freddie's looking really good, too. And Effy's always pretty, so.
MGAH I love these two together!!! Makes me want to save Freddie's episode for another week, but that's just stupid.
I love the new Skins cast. They're all pretty much good actors too. Not saying that the first generation wasn't (although some were sort of bothering me). But so far, all good with the new cast.
Gotta say, though, I miss Tony. And Maxxie. And Sid, and Chris, and Anwar, and Michelle, Cassie and Jal. And the old Effy too. She was the definition of 'mysterious'.

the Yes Dance
O.M.G.
"It's called Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!"
Robert Hoffman is a genius.
"Let's do the Fork in the Garbage Disposal. DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-
DI-DING-DING!"
LMAO.
It makes my day, everytime.
And Craig Ferguson doing it is just priceless. I love that guy.

porjar!
today's the start of the Porjar! The girls won easily on their first match; I'm so proud of them! They played so well! :) final score was 30-0 (I think...maybe 32-0?)
pfffffft
Those rowdy bitches ain't got nothin' on our girls.
I must also give a shout out to my 'beb' :) who let me finish a half-pint of ice cream she had lying around the house. From now on, everytime I eat Jamocha Almond Fudge, I shall think only of you.
It sucks I can't watch them tomorrow. Stupid useless extra math lessons which teach nothing. I miss Bunda!!! I can't believe there'll be no dance for A WHOLE FREAKIN MONTH. How will I make it?
ummmm...funny thing I feel the need to mention. Fiona gave homework for the co-ordinated science group (which, by the way, consists only of me, James, Sammy, Axel, William and Robin) and it turned out I was the only one that did it this week. BOY was she mad.
Funniest thing is, I've actually not done my homework a couple of times, and she's never yelled at me. But the ONE time James did it, and right at the time when nobody else did but I DID she went full throttle on us. I spent the whole 15 minutes of the tell-off trying very, very hard not to snicker.
Ahh. Life is good.

dahsyat
Dasyat, the music TV show that I'd never even heard of until about a week ago, was shooting at a local mall this afternoon. A friend of mine asked me to accompany her, because for some reason, she really wants to watch this thing (either that, or she was told to write an article about it; who knows?). She said they start rolling at 2. So I'm like "ok, I'll come at 1 then."
At 12:45, I was stuck in the heaviest traffic jam I'd ever been through in that part of the city. Really. It was like everyone who watched local TV had come in today to watch the local artists.
"I can't believe there's so much people. They're [the artists] not even cool." I'd grumbled to my mom in the car.
My mom and I parked the car at a next door tech center and walked to the crowd-filled hive. People were sitting on walls, packed and squished into each other. Some kids and adults too were climbing nearby trees to get a glimpse of the low stage in the front parking lot.
We pushed, shoved, dodged our way through the crowd to the back entrance of the mall which, surprise SURPRISE, was crammed with people too. Masses of crowd were trying to both get in and out of a small double-doorway.
I took my phone out right then and texted my friend that there was no way I was gonna make it through all that. I mean, the people were all sweaty. And stinky. And they yell and curse loudly. And there were crude boys whistling and staring at me like they just can't wait for me to find a place in the middle of all that and rub body parts with them. *shudders*.
Now I know what it must feel like to go to any Twilight events. Only the crowds there would be more civilised. And we'd share the same interests. And the gold at the end of the rainbow would be something actually worth it. *sighs*
Well, at least there's the night out to look forward to tonight. This shall be fun :)
But first, to science; write a half-page of hydrogen as a fuel. And I'd forgotten my chemistry textbook at school. Greaaat.
